Requirements

Possess intermediate computer skills, including Excel, Word, and utilization of formulas
Strong mathematical skills
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
Strong communication skills and positive attitude
Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

Responsible for evaluating the physical and visual properties of manufactured film to ensure customer requirements are met.
Reviewing product specifications and additional item information to understand customer requirements.
Testing plastic film (dyne level, width testing, CoF testing, gloss testing, surface quality, etc.)
Entering quality testing results into the production monitoring system.
Calibrating Equipment
Cleaning Equipment
Conveying product quality inspection status to Supervisor and/or Extrusion Tech for management of the production process.
Maintaining the sample retain system.
Properly labeling and storing of retains in bags.
Transporting and storing retain boxes.
Discarding out-of-date retains.
Maintaining a clean work environment.
Performing visual inspections
Creating and distributing Certificates of Analysis
