About The Position

Comprehensive Logistics Co., LLC is seeking a self-motivated and energetic Quality Technician for the 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm). The company is focused on momentum and innovation, diversifying into new markets and expanding its current base. This role involves contract manufacturing process disciplines, including integrated robotics, vision-based error-proofing, and advanced IT applications in digital material flow management. Requirements

  • The ability to work 6am-2:30pm (Mon-Fri).
  • Strong organizational skills, self-starter with follow through.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Word.
  • Reach truck license/certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and monitors the contents of shipments that leave Comprehensive.
  • Assists with training Material Movement Team.
  • Train and coach receiving personnel on company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to make timely decisions that may affect the service and productivity of our customer.
  • Communicate with the supervisor, quality, materials, and customers to ensure processes are being followed to meet customer requirements.
  • Plan, organize, and help solve problems and make informed decisions that affect service and productivity with regards to our customer.
  • Be knowledgeable and understand how our function affects our customer.
  • Ensures compliance to Dock Safety.
  • Keep proper documentation and records.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Enforce company policies/procedures and corresponding work instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Research part status even when on a trailer.
  • Break down build papers from customer for each cell – verify all received and if not notify customer with what is needed.
  • Work with the 1st shift planner (customer) with any inventory issues.
  • Gather parts requested throughout the night and schedule delivery to customer keeping within their 30-minute time frame.
  • Support Quality Liaison with inventory/quality issues throughout the shift.
  • Support receiving with deliveries by entering in the system.
  • Send nightly report to planners which updates them on parts needing to be reordered.
