About The Position

As a Quality Technician you will measure and inspect parts using calibrated gauges, visual inspection, load test equipment and automated coordinate machines such as FARO arm and CMM Bridge.

  • Ability to problem solve, search for root cause and address issues

Responsibilities

  • Performs and records inspection/tests of in process or final parts and processes throughout the production facility using gauges, calipers, and other measuring and visual tools.
  • Active participation in company Zero Defects program – involvement in developing solutions to process issues that create scrap/MRB/rework.
  • Validate CMM programs, troubleshooting, and analysis of rejects/failures and generation of documentation pertaining to AS9100 requirements.
  • Supports QE by assisting in developing, coordinating, and deploying work instructions and procedures, in process inspection plans, and associated process controls for assigned product lines.
  • Advise team members during development phases of potential Quality needs for the development of new products.
  • Perform FAI inspections in facility or in inspection department for manufactured or purchased components.
