The Quality Technician will perform in-process, first article, and final inspections on machined components and assemblies. This role requires interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements to inspect tight-tolerance and critical features on precision machined components. The technician will use various inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IMTE) and operate vision systems. A key part of the role involves verifying CMM inspections, troubleshooting measurement discrepancies, and using specialized materials to capture internal or inaccessible features for indirect measurement. The technician will also be responsible for documenting inspection results, segregating nonconforming material, supporting root cause analysis, and maintaining inspection areas. Additionally, the role involves supporting audits and communicating inspection findings to relevant teams.
