Quality Technician
About The Position
All America Threaded Products has an opportunity available for a Quality Technician! This role will report to the Quality Manager and will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, work in process, and finished goods to maintain a high level of quality throughout the manufacturing process. This position will work on-site at our facility in Lancaster, with training completed on a first shift schedule. As a 2nd Shift Quality Technician with All America Threaded Products, you will enjoy a competitive hourly wage, potential bonus incentives, and a work-life balance with a consistent schedule. You will also be part of a high-impact role as a member of the QA Team, contributing to the success of AATP in a fast-paced environment with varying responsibilities relating to Quality.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of external thread dimensions and standards.
- Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators, gages).
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Experience documenting issues, defects, and errors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Outlook.
- Familiarity with warehouse and manufacturing safety standards.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and interact in a physically demanding position.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform random sampling, batch sampling, and quality spot-checks.
- Work with the Operations team to optimize process flow.
- Document and communicate quality issues in a clear and timely manner.
- Coordinate with the appropriate team to reconcile quality issues.
