Responsibilities

  • Inspects, records, and reports information at various production phases.
  • Obtain samples for Quality tests where necessary. Raw materials, finished product, in-process, components, and labels.
  • Audits to assure conformance to specification for SOPs and GMPs.
  • Maintains retention samples and retention records.
  • Work with the team lead to resolve discrepancies.
  • Report unresolved discrepancies to the Quality Supervisor, Manager, or designee.
  • Entry data into computer.
  • Creates Quality paperwork for product received in receiving.
  • Inspects labels according to SOP
  • Maintains label cage
  • Issues released labels to production.
  • Assures that current and correct labels are used.
  • Controls obsolete label status and inventory as directed.
  • Reconciliation of labels remaining after batch run.
  • Takes samples of labels for functional groups per distribution list
  • Assures correctness, conformance to specification for data entry, process orders, and COA.
  • Send samples for outside testing
  • Releases raw materials, labels, finished product, and components
  • Record keeping and verifications
  • Batch records sign off from weighing out to packaging
  • Maintains testing programs for allergen and environmental swabbing programs.
  • Performs monthly glass and hard plastic audits
