About The Position
Perform inspection/testing (e.g. First Articles, customer returns, incoming inspection, supplier issues) using gages including; micrometers, calipers, height gages and various other gages/fixtures) Read and interpret drawings. Support the Control of Nonconforming Product process by ensuring appropriate segregation, identification and disposition of such product. Assist with problem identification, investigation and resolution. Perform incoming inspection for raw material and outside processing product. Maintain records per Quality Management System requirements. Perform product audit production/inspection records. Additional duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior experience with sheet metal.
- Basic math skills
- Blueprint reading / GD&T
- Ability to use measuring and test equipment
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment.
