  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in quality control, quality assurance, inspection, manufacturing, or a related environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of inspection methods and measurement tools.
  • Ability to accurately document information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify defects, inconsistencies, trends, and potential quality concerns.
  • Inspect raw material, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality requirements.
  • Communicate quality issues promptly rather than allowing a known problem to continue through the process.
  • Work directly with Production, Engineering, and Quality to investigate problems and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Help troubleshoot defects and participate in root-cause investigations.
  • Use inspection tools, measurement equipment, and quality systems to evaluate products.
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain required quality records.
  • Help determine whether problems are isolated issues or signs of a larger process concern.
  • Support corrective actions and follow up to ensure identified issues are addressed.
  • Participate in continuous-improvement efforts focused on reducing defects and improving consistency.
  • Reinforce quality expectations and help employees understand why those standards matter.
  • Support the development and improvement of quality procedures and processes.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Benefits

  • Starting wage of $25 per hour, more depending on experience
  • Second shift premium of $1.00, OT shift premium of $1.50
  • Straight shifts, Monday thru Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30 pm
