About The Position

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening in its Wellford, SC office for a Quality Technician who will perform basic quality techniques to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. TTI is a world-class leader in design, manufacturing and marketing of Power Tools, Hand Tools, Outdoor Power Equipment, and Floor Care and Appliances for consumers, professional and industrial users in the home improvement, repair and construction industries. Requirements

  • 2-year degree with HS diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience
  • Must be knowledgeable of inspection and analysis techniques.
  • Familiar with a QMS such as ISO 9000:2000.
  • No final warnings
  • No more than 6 attendance points
  • Efficiency and Quality goals met for the previous 3 months
  • Must be in current role for 6+ months.
  • Must meet all job description requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer a person with a certification such as the CQT

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for returns analysis, continual improvement activities, supplier interface and customer complaint handling
  • Inspect and analyze components and products for conformance to specifications
  • Develop inspection instructions
  • Perform system audits to ensure procedures are being followed
  • Gathers data to help support continual improvement activity
  • Performs other duties as assigned
