About The Position
Perform first article, in-process, and other inspection of products, processes, and gauges per specifications.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of sheet metal, tubing, and other materials
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of measuring equipment, including tape measure and caliper
- Understand detailed prints and manufacturing symbols
- Understand advanced measurement and angle conversions
- Advanced computer, written/verbal communication skills, and math skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections on parts and materials
- Create process checklists and coordinate quality inspections
- Create documentation for quality issues and corrective actions
- Assist with identifying, labeling, and recording product locations to maintain organization
- Enter and update relevant information in ERP system
- Monitor and maintain company business management system (BMS)
- Assist with any other duties as assigned
