About The Position

In the Quality Technician role, you will support manufacturing and assembly operations by ensuring product quality and smooth production flow. You’ll manage nonconforming materials, including their removal, transfer, and rework, while performing final quality inspections, documentation reviews, and product release activities. You’ll work alongside a cross-functional team of quality professionals, engineers, and production personnel dedicated to maintaining high standards across manufacturing operations. This team collaborates with interal groups to ensure product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. Together, you’ll help deliver safe, reliable products that make a meaningful impact. This is a second shift position, Monday-Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
6 months of experience in manufacturing/quality preferred.
Basic science, math, and computer skills (including Microsoft Word and Excel) are required.
Good writing, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
Ability to work in a team environment and make independent decisions based on procedural and regulatory requirements.
Must be able to work flexible hours in a dynamic environment with minimal direct supervision.
The ability to work on some weekends is required.
Visual Acuity 20/20 Near Vision with or without corrective vision required.

Attention to detail and organization are highly desired.
Experience with the requirements of current Good Manufacturing & Documentation Practices in pharma manufacturing facilities is desirable.

Responsibilities

Support manufacturing and assembly operations by ensuring product quality and smooth production flow.
Manage nonconforming materials, including their removal, transfer, and rework.
Perform final quality inspections, documentation reviews, and product release activities.
Make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results.
Maintain department equipment and inventory levels for controlled materials.
Initiate and follow up on monthly inventory cycle count variances.
Perform routine inspections, floor shop oversight, quality checks, and in-process product inspections of finishing product areas.
Interact with manufacturing and supervision to address quality process or batch-related concerns.
Perform process compliance audits of all manufacturing areas to ensure quality of product/process (TIQs) is achieved.
Perform troubleshooting, work independently, and make decisions based on general guidance and existing procedural requirements.
Perform product functional testing in support of equipment validations.
Identify process improvements and escalate to Line Operations Supervision and/or Management.
Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Work in both Drug Delivery and Penicillin facilities as needed.
Overtime may be required to meet the production schedule.
