About The Position

We are searching for a Quality Technician to join our quality management team in Richmond, VA. This role offers a unique opportunity to become part of our quality management team. As a Quality Technician, you will collaborate with our production team to ensure that our products meet all quality standards including, but not limited to, ISO 9001.

Requirements

• An associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong time management skills, urgency, and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively, present, and influence credibly at all levels.
• Able to investigate the root cause and suggest workable solutions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with inspection tools, hand tools, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet specified standards and customers’ requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests, document any defects or issues found, and correct them.
• Monitor the production process to identify any deviations from quality standards and suggest improvements.
• Provide training to production staff on quality measures and proper equipment usage.
• Support quality audits and compiling reports on quality and process-related issues.
• Time and project management through personal skills and software
• Collaborate with other employees to create the best solution.
• Collaborate with the Production team to make sure the solution is tested and completed correctly.
