This hourly role is a part of our plant quality team and reports to the quality supervisor.

Requirements

Knowledge of welding and stamping processes, preferred.
Able to train and deliver information to various work groups.
Excellent computer skills and ability to learn various computer programs.
Understanding and strong knowledge of quality systems, process control, statistical process control (SPC), control plans, work instructions, and product layout.
Excellent communication skills as evidenced in colleague relations, team skills, and have the ability to interface directly with the customer to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Supports the Quality Program by performing a combination of related tasks in conformance with quality standards.
Responsible for inspection, tests, surveillance and quality operations support.
Collects data and enters into appropriate reporting tools.
Conducts destructive and non-destructive test on welds.
Provide quality knowledge to supervisors and manufacturing colleagues as needed.
