About The Position

Our Banks Crossing, GA location is part of our Taste division and creates a variety of stock broth, soups, and bases. If you’re looking to build a career in manufacturing with a team you can have some fun with, we might be the place for you! We have an immediate opening for a Night shift Quality Technician. The hours will be 6PM-6AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
1 - 3 years of quality experience or experience working in a poultry manufacturing facility.
Proficiency in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must use logical thought processes and deductive reasoning.
Ability to communicate verbally and in written form.

Nice To Haves

Experience in food, pharmaceutical industry, or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance in maintaining record keeping, training and documentation.
Ensure compliance to the Food Safety and Quality Systems of the facility.
Perform formal GMP audits.
Training of facility personnel on food safety programs.
Ensure all cleaning validation and verification activities are consistent with Kerry policies and procedures and federal regulations.
Maintaining the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP).
Perform pre-operational and operational inspections of equipment and production areas.
Support with CCP Verifications and calibrations of magnet and metal detection systems to ensure they are in top performance.
Experience with allergen management, pest control, organic products etc.
