About The Position

Spartronics is seeking a Quality Technician for their Plaistow, NH location. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of products for critical industries such as aerospace, defense, life sciences, and medical devices. The Quality Technician will perform inspections, support testing, review documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for individuals with manufacturing or inspection experience who are adept at problem-solving, interpreting technical drawings, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within an advanced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working in manufacturing, inspection, or quality environments
  • Ability to read and interpret: Work instructions, Schematics, Mechanical drawings, Wire diagrams
  • Comfortable using computers and production software
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Ability to work onsite in Plaistow, NH

Nice To Haves

  • ASQ certifications (CST, CQI, etc.)
  • IPC J-STD or IPC-610 Certification
  • Experience in electronic manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100 standards
  • Experience with AS9102 inspection software such as Net Inspect or DISCUS

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming inspections and First Article Inspection preparation
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections on manufactured products
  • Perform electrical and mechanical testing using standardized procedures
  • Review products against customer specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate physical and electronic quality records
  • Generate reports and provide inspection data to engineering and program teams
  • Process Nonconformance Reports (NCMs), including documentation and supplier communication
  • Support AS9102 First Article Inspection activities
  • Work closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Program teams
  • Support production troubleshooting and defect resolution
  • Assist with calibration, shelf-life monitoring, and other QMS activities
  • Help train or mentor team members as needed
  • Interpret schematics, wire diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Use inspection tools such as: Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges, Measuring equipment
  • Utilize software tools including MS Office and quality/production systems
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures
