The Quality Technician will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on materials and products. This role will assist in root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). The technician will identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material, and partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to resolve and prevent quality issues. Responsibilities include conducting visual, dimensional, and functional inspections according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions, and verifying that products meet company, customer, and regulatory standards. Accurate recording of inspection results in logs, forms, or digital systems, and preparation of quality reports are essential. The role also involves evaluating and processing returned goods (RMA), supporting SPC data collection and trend analysis, and maintaining the calibration status of inspection and test equipment. Promoting quality awareness and continuous improvement on the shop floor is also a key aspect of this position.
