About The Position

Join Dynavac—a leader in high-vacuum process equipment—help us support some of the most advanced organizations in aerospace, defense, and thin-film technology. If you enjoy solving problems, working with blueprints, documenting results, managing calibrated equipment, this is the job for you! We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join our Quality team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of ensuring that all manufactured products meet customer, company, and industry quality standards through hands-on inspection, measurement, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Ability of Reading Blueprints and other drawing requirements
  • At least one year of relevant Machining experience or At least two years of relevant Mechanical inspection experience, preferably within a custom manufacturing environment
  • Use of mechanical inspection gages, equipment and fixturing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Acceptable ability to follow written or oral instructions
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately

Nice To Haves

  • AS9100 experience

Responsibilities

  • Plans inspection procedures, following specifications and using knowledge gained by experience.
  • Inspects, tests and measures materials and products and compares to specifications.
  • Familiar with metal fabrication, and welding.
  • Accepts or rejects finished items.
  • Report inspection and test data and discuss inspection results.
  • Maintains the Black Books with all the revision updates and releases.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and/or corrective action manages all calibrated equipment and facilitates the recertification efforts specific to this equipment
  • Support customer problems remotely (diagnostics and upgrade implementation)
  • Knowledge of Thin Film Deposition practices and techniques
