This role is a unique opportunity to help lead the setup, launch, and support of our new refrigeration fabrication and assembly lines. Start-Up Responsibilities & Ongoing Production Responsibilities Reporting into the Quality Department, the Quality Technician is responsible for auditing the internal processes, component and product quality throughout the manufacturing workstream. There will be Quality Technician responsibilities in Fabrication, Assembly, Incoming Inspection, and Finished Good Inspection. As part of the plant start-up, this role will also support new equipment and process capability studies. The successful individual will also participate in continuous product and process improvements to exceed the expectations of those we service by providing high quality, innovative, value added, luxury appliance products and services.

Responsibilities

Auditing the internal processes, component and product quality throughout the manufacturing workstream in Fabrication, Assembly, Incoming Inspection, and Finished Good Inspection.
Supporting new equipment and process capability studies as part of the plant start-up.
Participating in continuous product and process improvements.
Participating in Control Plan system development and execution.
Developing, deploying and performing audits while maintaining the audit database.
Reviewing and updating the quality system requirements for new or revised products, including review and measurement of key control characteristics (KCC) identification and documentation.
Working closely with engineering to support Factory Acceptance Testing, and trial builds of product throughout the system, gathering feedback for evaluation and analysis.
