Responsibilities

Ensures and verifies that all plant departments and employees are adhering to the quality standards and guidelines of the company.
Takes samples, tests, records, and reports on basic physical, chemical, and biological properties of ingredients, formulations, packaging, and other associated material, leading to their acceptance, approval, or disposition.
Actively monitors, teaches, and enforces plant sanitation policies, GMP's, HACCP, and methods for allergen control
Prepares, maintains, monitors, and tracks plant documentation
Monitor the departmental efficiency, testing and approval times, yields, scrap loss, and other key indicators
Teaches, instructs, and leads plant employees in issues regarding sanitation
Accurately prepares and maintains all departmental forms and documents. Monitors the completion of paperwork by other departments, emphasizing optimum record keeping within all plant areas.
