About The Position

Glenroy, Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician for the 3rd shift. This role involves performing product tests and measurements, monitoring production activities, approving product specifications, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The technician will also be responsible for creating quality data for customer shipments, initiating product holds, performing final product release, and maintaining production test records. Additionally, the role may require filling in on the production line as a Packer/Quality Inspector and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to read both metric and standard rulers
Strong communication skills, including the ability to coach the Packer/Quality Inspector position
High school–level math skills
Ability to multi-task effectively
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Blueprint reading skills a plus

Responsibilities

Perform product tests and measurements in accordance with product specifications and react appropriately to non-conforming issues identified.
Monitor production activities in accordance with established GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Perform approval of product specifications and line start-ups.
Identify and provide test documentation for product line start-ups.
Perform assigned audits/inspections in a timely manner.
Summarize and create quality data for customer shipments (COA – Certificate of Analysis).
Initiate and record product holds.
Perform final product release for shipments.
Assemble and file production test retains and records.
Fill in on production line as Packer/Quality Inspector as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
