About The Position

The Quality Technician will work closely with the Quality Engineering team to ensure we deliver high-quality parts that meet our customer's needs while meeting internal cost objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in MRB process will be plus
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical assemblies and manufacturing processes
  • Project management experience and an understanding of problem-solving tools including design of experiments, root cause analysis and statistical analytical tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Possess effective verbal & written skills
  • Good organizational skills & high attention to detail
  • Operate as a team or independently with hiring manager’s guidance

Responsibilities

  • Review filed non-conformance report and generated FA
  • Control return material storage within RMA area
  • Manage timely processing of RMAs to meet customer requirements
  • Coordinate material movement for further RMA processing/repair
  • Analyzes internal/external failures (RMA), suggest corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints
  • Leads quality problem resolutions and drive root cause, preventative, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present field failure summaries on customer and field escalations. Prepare and present Quality Reviews to manager.
  • Work with Quality Engineering and Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering and Production to interpret the results of field failures and to draw conclusions and future recommendations.
  • Document lesson learned from the field failures and responsible to communicate with internal team for close loop action
  • Perform other projects and duties that maybe assigned.
