About The Position

The Quality Technician I/II/III facilitates the parts quality process throughout the organization. Working in partnership with internal business units, the role ensures the precision and inspection of parts entering the facility and supports Quality Management Systems through data collection, reporting, and analysis. The technician partners with leaders in daily operations to improve quality systems, processes, and performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Responsibilities

• Conduct process and product audits to ensure team members follow standardized operating procedures and adhere to quality standards.
• Implement resolutions to basic through moderately complex problems.
• Use judgment within established procedures and practices to select methods and techniques for reaching solutions.
• Implement process improvements to continuously improve quality.
• Cross-train in multiple departments or stations and work in other similar departments as business needs require.
• Assist with NPI/ECN changes and perform other duties assigned by the Quality Supervisor or Manager.
• Suggest and implement improvements to existing equipment, designs, and processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors, depending on the level and complexity.
