Requirements

  • Experience inspecting products using quality plans and various metrologies including, concentricity gauges, drop gauges, pin gauges, OGP, Keyence, and VICI devices.
  • Interprets instructions both written and oral.
  • Works in a team environment to resolve work issues.
  • Knowledge of basic shop math.
  • Communicates effectively in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Operation of measuring instruments and equipment for inspection of product
  • Understand calibration/verification of measuring instruments.
  • Verify conformance of product in accordance with Quality Plans (i.e., using visual inspection techniques, microscopes, micrometers, automated measuring instruments).
  • Understand the fundamentals of the quality management system.
  • Read and interpret drawings.
  • Understand defect types, sorting and lot control procedures.
  • Perform work in accordance with traveler and work instructions.
  • Perform technical end of shift duties, end of job procedures, and housekeeping procedures.
  • Observe safety policies including personal protective equipment requirements and hazardous/emergency procedures.
