About The Position

L3 Harris is seeking an experienced Quality Technician B to join our Chula Vista, CA team. This role involves conducting quality assurance audits, performing inspections, attending production meetings, reviewing and finalizing records, and maintaining equipment to ensure adherence to procedures, materials, and technical instructions in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
3 to 4 years of quality or technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient in blueprint reading and QA systems.
Proficient in reading electrical schematics and a thorough understanding of electrical/electronic test results.
Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to procedures, materials, and technical instructions.
Perform regular inspections of work areas and other quality assessments.
Attend production meetings for updates on job progress and work with shop leads to address issues.
Review and finalize records at the conclusion of each work package for storage.
Maintain equipment and ensure calibration for testing.
Collaborate with other Quality Assurance Technicians as needed.
Support quality control initiatives.
