About The Position

Perform entry level QA duties related to the quality function regarding product testing. This role is required to be on-site 3 days at the Ottawa, KS location (after training).

Requirements

Must have a quality orientation, attention to detail, ability to work within a team, take direction from supervisory personnel, be able to take constructive criticism, and work toward continuous improvement.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Computer literate and proficient in the use of Excel and Word Processing software.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Education and job experience should be relevant to a manufacturing quality function with basic skills dealing in manufacturing, engineering, or computer processing.

Responsibilities

Reads and interprets documents (blueprints, drawings, or manufacturing work orders) to inspect parts, after multiple stages in manufacturing, to precision tolerance and company specifications.
Utilizes a full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection of parts.
Performs, when required, Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks per specification and acts in accordance with data output.
Meets and maintains productivity levels and quality requirements in support of departmental standards, goals, and schedules.
Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows safety regulations.
