JOB SUMMARY The Quality Technician I supports manufacturing operations by identifying, investigating, and resolving quality issues throughout the production process. This role collaborates with plant teams to ensure first-pass quality, perform audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives. YOUR IMPACT These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned: Manage internal quality tasks within an assigned production area. Identify and report quality issues to all levels of the Operations team. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to troubleshoot and resolve quality concerns. Communicate supplier-related quality issues to Supplier Quality Technicians and suppliers. Promote first-pass quality throughout the manufacturing process. Participate in cross-functional team meetings related to quality and production. Conduct process and final product audits based on engineering specifications. Operate or move JLG equipment as needed for inspection or troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance, in-person and on-site.
