Requirements

Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft office, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to work in a repetitive motion environment
Willingness to cross-train throughout the area
Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently
Ability to work overtime when necessary
Established satisfactory attendance record and performance rating
Perform other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures

Basic computer skills

Previous mechanical experience

Responsibilities

Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures
Investigate Quality Issues and propose solutions in process
Create and maintain Schedule for Process and Product Audits (LPA Audits & Dirt Checks)
Maintain Dirt check process, equipment and schedule
Communicate with suppliers and customers in an accurate and timely manner
Use of computer, gages, forklift, and pallet jack
Understanding of purchasing system and requirements for purchasing items
Good understanding of the current Quality System
Perform Internal Systems and Product Audits
Ability to monitor, collect, and process various types of data to assist in measuring of systems, processes, or product
Participate as a member of the Quality Management Team
Work with hourly associates and team members on day-to-day quality issues
Maintain Non-Conforming Materials database for Layered Process Audits
Perform assigned tasks within the stated or implied deadlines and meet all expected deliverables
Issue and coordinate Corrective Actions for Layered Process Audits
Properly identify component parts by learning identification numbers
Adhere to established work rotation plan
Complete training matrix for each rotation position
Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions
Perform other duties as assigned
Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughout
Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy
Ability to operate hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner.
