About The Position

The Quality Technician I supports manufacturing operations by identifying, investigating, and resolving quality issues throughout the production process. This role collaborates with plant teams to ensure first-pass quality, perform audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance, in-person and on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal quality tasks within an assigned production area.
  • Identify and report quality issues to all levels of the Operations team.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to troubleshoot and resolve quality concerns.
  • Communicate supplier-related quality issues to Supplier Quality Technicians and suppliers.
  • Promote first-pass quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings related to quality and production.
  • Conduct process and final product audits based on engineering specifications.
  • Operate or move JLG equipment as needed for inspection or troubleshooting.
