About The Position

Ensuring Chart’s Success… What Will You Do? Provide analysis of data and write summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards Recommend modifications to existing or suggests new standards, methods and procedures Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer high complex issues to higher-level staff Utilize tools (such as caliper, micrometer, optical comparator, CMM etc.) in daily tasks Product, process and Quality Management System audits Process reject material from production Inspect products to ensure conformance to established quality standards Initiate nonconformance reports Initiate revisions for Quality Management System documentation Conduct sample receiving inspections on purchased parts Gather gas samples in support of product gas analysis Issue production line Certificates of Compliance (CoC’s) Conducts chemical analysis Inspect incoming material (FAI) and final product Pressure test rupture discs Perform leak tests through bubbles and tracer gas sniffing

Requirements

2+ years of quality technician experience, preferably in manufacturing
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders
Intermediate to advanced math skills (weight measurement, volume, distance, multiplication, division, percentage and conversions)
Attention to detail essential
Intermediate computer skills
Strong time management skills
Proven ability to identify, reason and problem solve intermediate non-conformities and deviations

Nice To Haves

ASQ certification
General to intermediate knowledge of ISO procedures
Welding experience, a plus
