About The Position

This position is responsible for inspecting completed fabricated and welded structural parts to ensure proper assembly using tapes and other measuring devices. The role involves performing routine inspections of manufactured products, verifying packing accuracy across all departments, and maintaining/updating tool calibration and personnel weld certification logs. The Quality Tech II will also track and investigate Quality Records (QSR’s and IQR’s) and lead quality initiatives and improvements within production processes. The position is for the continental night shift (6p - 6a, 3-4 shifts a week) but requires willingness to fill inspection needs on other shifts when necessary. Safety is paramount, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

Minimum of High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to achieve AWS CWI certification within 1 year.
Ability to obtain and perform NDT (UT level I) certification within 2 years.
