Quality Team Coordinator - Solar Shift
About The Position
The Quality Team Coordinator assists the supervisor with operating an area of a department, allowing the Coach to focus more on team members and less on daily workflow issues. The role is primarily responsible for maintaining continuous production flow by relieving bottlenecks, filling in for positions as needed, identifying shortages of parts or resources and finding solutions or notifying the Coach when solutions are needed. The coordinator also facilitates Lean Manufacturing processes and requests non-personnel assistance from other departments by completing work orders and requesting engineering and SFA assistance. Other reasonable manufacturing duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities
- Reduce production bottlenecks on the manufacturing product line.
- Address and correct workflow issues.
- Learn all positions in the area and fill in as needed.
- Identify part and resource shortages and provide solutions or notify the Coach when solutions are needed.
- Communicate relevant situations to supervisors, engineers, and managers as appropriate.
- Facilitate implementation of Lean Manufacturing processes.
- Request non-personnel assistance from other departments by completing work orders and requesting engineering and SFA assistance.
- Perform other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
