This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and auditing of the Quality Systems for all departments of the Plant. The role will manage sanitation, ensure GMP requirements are met, and manage the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) program for the Plant, ensuring compliance to Corporate, Regulatory, and Customer requirements. The Quality Systems Manager will also be responsible for maintenance and implementation of the Plant's Quality Systems Policies and Procedures, ensuring departments have appropriate systems in place and providing assistance when necessary. This role involves documenting the Plant's HACCP Program, ensuring verifications and validations are current, and conducting/supervising internal audits to ensure food safety. The manager will facilitate third-party and regulatory audits, maintain documentation for customer audits, and provide feedback on sanitation and GMP issues. Additionally, the role monitors warehouse performance in sanitation/pest control, makes strategic purchases to maintain quality systems, manages implementation projects, and coordinates training related to Divisional and Corporate Quality System Programs.
