Jabil is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Quality Systems Engineer to work in our plant in Auburn Hill, MI How will you make an impact? As a Manufacturing Quality Systems Engineer at Jabil, you will manage, coordinate, and execute one or more of the site’s critical Quality System programs. You’ll ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, lead cross-functional problem-solving initiatives, and provide technical guidance to maintain and improve the site’s quality systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or other similar related disciplines.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with manufacturing quality systems or regulatory and compliance OR an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience of actively participating in internal and external audits.
  • Certified internal auditor or advanced knowledge of Regulatory and ISO standards.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis.
  • Ability and experience supporting internal and external audits.
  • High-level computer skills (Windows and Microsoft Office applications).

Nice To Haves

  • Project management, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the site’s CAPA system and auditing tool, including training and technical support for local staff.
  • Monitor CAPA progress proactively to ensure timely implementation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving activities.
  • Analyze the site’s Quality System for compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Support preparation of quality-related documentation and process analysis.
  • Provide technical guidance on complex issues; interpret quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform independent internal audits and support internal, external, and customer audits.
  • Maintain and update site-level quality system policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Provide Quality Management with key plant metrics updates.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining metrics for the Quality Systems department.
  • Support software and systems validation plan requirements for applicable computer systems.
  • Work safely and comply with Environmental Health and Safety standards.
