About The Position

Hexcel is a global leader in advanced composites technology, a leading producer of carbon fiber, and the world leader in honeycomb manufacturing for the commercial aerospace industry. Hexcel is currently seeking a Quality Systems and Training Support Specialist (1st Shift) for our Amesbury, MA location. The selected individual will be responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing data management for various database systems, coordinating training activities, supporting records management, generating reports, preparing CoC and CoA documents, and supporting plant safety and quality objectives. This role also involves performing special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office tools including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Organized and detail oriented to ensure accuracy and completeness of work.
  • Affinity for data and document management with a mindset for thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Professional communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Able to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision, while keeping management informed.
  • Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to ensure commitments are met.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to U.S. federal government contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and ongoing data management for select database systems including CMMS, LMS, DMS, NCM and CAPA databases, and Calibration database.
  • Coordinate training activities for employees with managers and supervisors, including the development of new employee training plans, training guides, scheduling classes, and training for new and revised documents.
  • Support records management for various document types such as production work orders, training records, inspection & test records and calibration records, including scanning, labeling, sorting, and filing.
  • Utilize existing databases and query tools to generate various reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Prepare CoC and CoA documents in accordance with requirements.
  • Supports plant safety and quality objectives.
  • Performs special projects as assigned.

Benefits

  • The salary range for this role is $56,980 to $97,680.
