About The Position

The Quality Support Tech is responsible for pre-washing and thoroughly cleaning all vehicles before final delivery to the customer. This role provides support to the repair center by shuttling customers and vehicles to appropriate locations, while also maintaining all service tools and equipment in the detail department. Auto Detailers are required to follow ABRA standards.

Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively communicate with ABRA family and customers.
Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance

Responsibilities

Performing a thorough detail of the interior and exterior of all vehicles prior to final delivery to the customer.
Performing a pre-wash on vehicles prior to the actual repair process beginning and may also wash vehicles during estimating process to identify all damage.
Visually inspecting every vehicle for flaws in the repaired area(s).
Documenting all flaws on the Facts of Loss form in each folder for all vehicles and verbally communicating with the production manager.
Providing support to the repair center by shuttling customers and vehicles to the appropriate locations.
Assisting in the general maintenance of the repair center and outside grounds.
Assisting with scanning vehicles.
Consistently utilizing all required safety equipment, adhering to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal and participating in monthly safety meetings.
Maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment in the detail department; keeping personal work area organized and returning tools, materials, and equipment to designated areas.
Performing other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business.
