About The Position

Quality Supervisor Job Description Location: Greenville, MI Department: Quality Reports to: Quality Manager Date: May 2025 Summary Responsibilities of this position include: to provide Quality Leadership, direction and hands-on involvement in the implementation of Quality System. Provide shift oversight and leadership to Quality Assurance Staff involved in the production process.

  • Strong awareness of technical standards required in a regulated industry
  • Work safely and follow rules and guidelines for safe work

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ISO/TS 16949 quality management system (QMS) requirements for production, and when relevant automotive-related products
  • Departmental daily safety spot checks
  • Ensure employees receive training and understand all safety requirements and procedures related to their work. Enforces personal protective equipment requirements
  • Drive the development of quality related policy deployment objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze effectiveness of quality system
  • Analyze internal quality defect data to define and resolve root causes
  • Manage quality processes and functions including but not limited to Nonconforming Material, CAPA, Incoming, Metrology, Calibration, Product Hold, Product Release and Temporary Deviations.
  • Drives data analysis of quality performance to identify high priority issues relating to safety, complaints and systemic customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor quality assurance department employees, which may include interviewing, training, directing, disciplining, and reviewing employees
  • Investigate quality problems to develop corrective actions.
  • Responsible for leading plant process inspections.
