About The Position

HYVE Solutions is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Quality Control Supervisor to lead quality operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for daily execution of quality inspection activities, direct supervision of QC personnel, and real-time ownership of quality performance on the production floor. The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who drives accountability, enforces standards, and ensures quality issues are identified and addressed early.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent manufacturing experience
  • Typically requires 3–5 years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and data tracking tools (spreadsheets, reports, metrics)
  • Ability to work extended hours, occasional weekends, or off-shift support as business needs require
  • Demonstrates ownership of quality performance and shift execution
  • Leads with presence, clarity, and consistency
  • Communicates issues with facts, data, and recommended actions
  • Holds team members accountable while maintaining morale and professionalism
  • Understands that quality leadership starts on the floor

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience leading or supervising teams preferred
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems preferred
  • Electronics or PCBA manufacturing experience preferred
  • Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership for Quality Control Inspectors and Lead on assigned shift
  • Own daily quality execution, including inspection flow, prioritization, and coverage
  • Lead daily quality huddles to review metrics, communicate priorities, identify blockers, and drive follow-up actions
  • Ensure inspection activities comply with work instructions, workmanship standards, IPC requirements, and ESD controls
  • Maintain visibility on the production floor to proactively identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of inspection records and quality documentation
  • Support identification, containment, and escalation of nonconforming material
  • Participate in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and verification of effectiveness
  • Enforce consistent application of quality procedures and policies across the shift
  • Coach and develop QC personnel to improve technical skill, decision-making, and accountability
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and environmental management requirements
  • Track, maintain, and report shift-level quality metrics and action items
  • Communicate effectively with Production, Engineering, and Quality leadership regarding quality status and risks
  • Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition
