The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of DESTACO Operating System principles, driving measurable improvements in key financial and operational performance metrics. This role ensures all products meet DESTACO quality assurance and reliability standards. The Quality Supervisor is accountable for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving a quality management system compliant with ISO 9000:2008 and NQA-1 standards, serving as the designated ISO/NQA-1 Management Representative. This position holds final authority over product shipment decisions and is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Quality Supervisor ensures that the Quality Policy and associated objectives are effectively communicated, understood, and applied throughout the organization. The role is responsible for overall product quality, supplier quality performance, and driving initiatives that exceed customer expectations while enhancing the effectiveness of the quality management system. The Quality Supervisor reports directly to the Plant Manager and is based in Wheeling, IL. The position requires up to 10% travel and includes direct supervision of Inspection personnel and cross-functional project teams. Strong collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Materials Management, Finance, as well as external customers and suppliers, is essential.
