About The Position

The Quality Specialist will be responsible for supporting IATF 16949 and ISO9001 certifications, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and supporting daily scrap monitoring and analysis. This role also involves supplier reporting, monthly metrics, and completing root cause investigations for customer complaints, internal issues, and audit findings. The specialist will assist in or manage containment and sorting activities, support external and internal investigations, and aid with Change Management processes. Additionally, the role manages external supplier defects/containment, supports shop floor audits, customer requirements, APS/Lean Projects, Quality Training, and the HOLD Process. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer interfacing is required. The position may also involve training QA technicians and providing QA support for new hire training.

Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Able to interface with computers.

Responsibilities

Support IATF 16949 and ISO9001 certifications.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Support daily scrap monitoring and analysis.
Responsible for supplier reporting and monthly metrics.
Complete or assist in completion of all root cause and countermeasure investigations for customer complaints, internal investigations, and audit findings.
Assist and/or manage containment activities.
Assist and/or manage sorting activities.
Support all external and internal investigations.
Assist with activities for Change Management.
Manage all external Supplier Defect/Containment.
Support and participate in shop floor audits.
Support Customer requirements.
Support APS/Lean Projects.
Support Quality Training.
Support HOLD Process.
May be responsible for assisting in training of QA technicians and QA support of Dojo training for all new hires.
