About The Position

This position is with Henkel's Adhesive Technologies business unit, which focuses on empowering people to transform industries and provide customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings. The Quality Specialist will perform testing for bulk manufacturing products according to the inspection plan, utilizing standard QC methods. This includes tests such as viscosity, cure speed/temperature, tensile lap shear performance, stability, titrations, and various analytical tests. The role also involves recording and retaining documentation for materials and samples, assisting in customer complaint and non-conforming material investigations, and verifying production adherence to quality requirements. Additionally, the specialist may support the Quality Control supervisor with calibration processes and must comply with all Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Associate's Degree in a Science discipline, or 5 years of equivalent Lab / Manufacturing experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing / chemical industry or within the quality profession.
  • PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office, SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience with ISO/IATF standards.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, extended shifts and/or other shifts on occasion.

Responsibilities

  • Performing testing to the inspection plan for bulk manufacturing products.

  • Complying with all Safety, Health, and Environmental rules, procedures, and regulations.
