About The Position

The Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring the implementation of an Integrated Management System for the business unit, taking into account applicable quality standards, customer requirements, and standards set by Schnellecke Logistics to ensure compliance. This role involves ensuring the Integrated Management System is functional, up-to-date, and accessible to all employees. The specialist will control and monitor scrap processing transactions in compliance with customer standards and adhere to safety principles at all times.

Requirements

  • Know and apply the standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned to ensure compliance.
  • Verify the execution of the documentation and controls of the processes with the purpose that you/they take actions for the prevention and elimination of flaws in the processes.
  • Update data into daily, weekly, and monthly scorecard and databases for view during management operational meetings and update data for required KPI’s to monitor operational performance by assessing online customer and Schnellecke databases and compiling the data.
  • Use Supplier Quality Management System for processing scrap material out of MBUSI SQMS system.
  • Manage the distribution lists for the online applications including, but not limited to Forms on Fire and iGrafx.
  • Communicate with MBUSI to resolve issues pertaining to scrap material and cost.
  • Administration of Action Task List and follow up with the responsible individuals for completion of action tasks.
  • Ensuring the up-to-date functioning of the Quality Matrix and the background working of document in iGrafx.
  • Document control for the Integrated Management System is in compliance to ISO9001 and Schnellecke procedures.
  • Assist with the completion of the incident investigation packet for injuries and incidents.
  • Manage, train and report on the Layered Process Audits.

Responsibilities
