About The Position
The Quality Specialist-Electrical will be responsible for performing enclosure and electrical inspections of generator and electrical enclosures. This includes supervising third party/customer inspections and delegating tasks as needed. This position will assist with the supervision of shipping necessary enclosure parts on an as needed basis.
Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent required.
- minimum 2 – 3 years commercial/industrial experience preferred in addition to experience with panel boards, transformers and distribution equipment.
- Possess working knowledge of NEC electrical codes in addition to NFPA 70-NEC.
Nice To Haves
- State journeymen or master’s license a plus.
- Medium voltage and electronics experience
Responsibilities
- Work with panel boards, transformers and distribution equipment.
- Exhibit ability to prioritize and plan work activities, manage time efficiently and meet objectives to complete projects.
- Sign off on enclosure and electrical inspection forms.
- Assist with shipping enclosures, tanks, and parts.
- Demonstrate teamwork by working well with others, offering assistance, responding positively to constructive feedback.
- Follow safe manufacturing and material handling practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects to include communication with other Robinson employees to assist with the progress of all projects.
