About The Position

Assurance Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Set-Up and Final Inspector to support quality inspection in its precision sheet metal fabrication, stamping, machining, and assembly operations. The role requires interpreting technical and quality documentation, performing inspections with precision measuring equipment, preparing reports and documentation, and applying inspection methods and quality tools. The position is based at Assurance Manufacturing’s facility in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Requirements

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, including blueprints, routings, work orders, engineering specifications, and safety regulations.
Ability to balloon drawings and write routine reports and documentation.
Ability to effectively present information to customers and other employees.
Ability to operate precision digital height gages, CMMs, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, eddy current meters, squares, hardness testers, measuring tape, profile gauges, and other precision measuring devices.
Ability to calculate dimensions, tolerances, bend allowances, proportions, and percentages, and apply basic algebra, geometry, and GD&T concepts.
Ability to solve practical problems involving concrete variables where limited standardization exists, and interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.
Understanding of Assurance Manufacturing’s Quality Policy and Objectives.
Knowledge of inspection methods and Quality Core Tools, including Control Plans and FMEAs.
Understanding of sampling plans.
Excellent organizational, communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
Intermediate computer skills, including Excel.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
