Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Skilled in the use of all types of measuring equipment, such as scales, calipers, micrometers, hand tools.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
Work from Engineering drawings/specs, Engineering change notices or established operating procedures.
Experience in PC skills (Microsoft Office-Excel, Word).
Minimum of 1 year in Aerospace Manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and materials for conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit.
Compare quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
Inspect and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to blueprints, parts manuals, company or military standards, and other specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
Assist with identification and segregation of rejected products or materials; approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information.
Inspect incoming orders for counterfeit material.
