Requirements

BS Technical Degree - preferred
Minimum 9+ years relevant experience to role, or 12+ years relevant experience with AS / no / non-tech degree
Technical project oversight/management (preferably including A&D industry; Military)
Creation of AS9102- Rev C First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) packages
Reading and applying Blueprints / GD&T / Other Quality Requirements to task
Ability to aid in inspection planning, gage selection, set-up
Ability to verify inspection data as being accurate and complete to requirements
Reviewing, comprehending, and compiling technical data
Leading formal Root Cause / Corrective Action team projects
Conducting Audits
Prior roles with reporting responsibilities, requirements, metrics
Advanced user of Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook
Interact with MRP/ERP systems
Operating in procedure-based and regulatory-controlled environments
Problem solving – including use of statistical based tools, analysis, and reporting
Leading / Training / Reviewing the work of others
U.S Citizen status required

Responsibilities

Manage the ongoing planning, inspection, and creation of First Article Inspection Reports (AS-9102 Rev C) to meet customer requirements per a prioritized schedule.
Build and submit First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) packages using DISCUS, Net-Inspect, or similar software into internet-based supplier portals for final review/approval.
Guide and support the planning, selection, and set-up of FAI by interacting with inspection personnel.
Conduct similar Quality Engineering work in other aspects of part qualification management, non-conformance management, Quality Management System involvement, or Continuous Improvement/Development oversight.
Review and resolve issues related to work and workflow.
Spot, segregate, and document Non-Conforming Material.
Interact with multiple computer systems/software.
Collaboratively engage daily with project/team leaders, peers, and customers.
