About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Quality Production Specialist (Level 3) to support the Investigations team onsite in Puyallup, Washington. This role involves reviewing and validating product non-conformances, quality procedures, and engineering requirements. The specialist will perform analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations, and processes against Quality Management System requirements, company procedures, contract requirements, or government regulations. A key aspect of this role is applying knowledge of aerospace design, systems, and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems. The position also includes training and mentoring fellow employees in the Quality Management System and performing root cause analysis to identify causes and prevent reoccurrence of nonconformances. The specialist will independently develop, modify, and document actions for problem resolution or corrective/preventive action implementation and documentation. They will obtain corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes, negotiate concurrence, obtain commitments for preventive and corrective action, prioritize quality activities, and ensure problem resolution. Additionally, the role involves reviewing and validating corrective action plans, identifying their effectiveness, and reviewing and approving Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes. The specialist will guide the validation of configuration management, quality procedures, and material review policies to deliver software products and develop software system processes to support changing industry standards. Finally, they will review and implement corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements, interpret industry standards, and provide recommendations for implementation. The role also includes creating analytical reports and coordinating with responsible parties for internal/external distribution. The position works under general direction.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
3+ years of experience in conducting a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) associated with a complex technical issue
3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience in verification of requirements (command media)
3+ years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders and suppliers
1+ years of experience assisting in the flow down quality requirements within the build plan
1+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System (BPS)
1+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements
Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations
Applies knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems
Trains and mentors fellow employees in the Quality Management System
