About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring an Experienced Quality Production Specialist (Level 3) to join our Quality Core team in Renton, WA on Shift 1. This role involves reviewing and validating product non-conformances, quality procedures, and engineering requirements. The specialist will perform analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations, and processes against Quality Management System requirements, company procedures, contract requirements, or government regulations. Additionally, the role includes training and mentoring fellow employees, independently developing and documenting actions for problem resolution or corrective/preventive actions, and obtaining corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes. The specialist will also negotiate concurrence, obtain commitments for action, prioritize quality activities, ensure problem resolution, and review/approve Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconforming hardware products/processes. Guiding the validation of configuration management, quality procedures, and material review policies to deliver software products, as well as reviewing and implementing corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements, are also key responsibilities. The role requires interpreting industry standards, providing recommendations for implementation, and creating analytical reports for distribution.

Requirements

3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions
3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
3+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
3+ years of experience developing presentations for leadership
3+ years of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements
Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations
Trains and mentors fellow employees in the Quality Management System
Independently develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action and documents resolution
Obtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes
Negotiates concurrence, obtains commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritizes quality activities and ensures problem resolution
Reviews and validates the corrective action plans and identifies effectivity to ensure completion
Reviews and approves Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes
Guides validation of configuration management, quality procedures and material review policies to deliver the software products
Reviews and implements corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements
Interprets industry standards and provide recommendations for implementation
Creates analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution
