Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a college or university in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Minimum collegiate GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in 3D design
- Previous Process Engineering experience
- Minor Metallurgical or Materials Engineering or equivalent field
- Effectively collaborate with other individuals
Responsibilities
- Focus on equipment upgrade and process improvement.
- Possible related projects include equipment design, installation, troubleshooting variability studies and other duties to assist the current Quality and Engineering teammates.
- Willing to work overtime as necessary.
- Uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
