Quality Problem Solving Engineer

FXIWest Chicago, IL

About The Position

As a Quality Problem Solving Engineer, you will drive quality improvement, root cause analysis, and problem-solving excellence across FXI's manufacturing network. This role is responsible for rapidly assessing issues and determining the appropriate level of response—whether through practical, rapid problem-solving methods or more structured Red X investigations for complex and recurring issues. The successful candidate will be a self-driven, logical thinker who thrives in a manufacturing environment and can facilitate cross-functional teams toward practical, sustainable solutions. They will possess a strong understanding of Lean principles, believe in simplicity over complexity, and focus on identifying true root causes rather than managing symptoms. This position will be based at one of FXI’s manufacturing facilities and requires approximately 50-70% travel to support quality initiatives throughout the company’s plant network.
