About The Position

This position will focus on maintaining all Preventative Maintenance (P & PM) components, equipment, devices, or systems. The candidate will be expected to conduct equipment surveillance with problem solving capability in a Team environment. Candidate will work in a multi-functional environment covering all contracts. Candidate will perform required inspections, checks, analysis and documentation of all acquired data. This entails working within multiple areas of the value stream ensuring production goals, safety, quality, cost and schedule. Candidate will be available to work flexible hours including weekends due to scheduling constraints and during emergent conditions. Candidate will work under general and supervisory directions. Some duties and tasks may be repetitive in a supportive role.

Requirements

  • Resume must be attached.
  • High School graduate or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years Electrical experience shipboard installation and application of electrical equipment in a marine environment listed on resume.

  • Ability to work in small confined spaces, work at extreme heights, stooping, kneeling, bending, crawling, and climbing when required.
  • Demonstrated basic computer skills are required.
  • Able to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends as required by Management.
  • Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
  • Able to work indoors/outdoors year round in all weather conditions.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Able to pass Physical Agility Test.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs.
